Oh no, another rant?

I like the John Hughes film Sixteen Candles and I don't own it. You'd think this new edition would be right for me. Not so. I just found out my nemesis, Diablo Cody, is featured in the supplemental features. Considering she had nothing to do with the film, nor even had a career until a year ago, I think it's a mite earlier to start including her in retrospectives of media films that actually are culturally relevant.

I believe this is the first time I'm not buying a DVD because of someone featured in an extra. Seriously, that's a new kind of loathing for me. This must be what it feels like to hate Kevin Smith... Glad I'm not one of those people.

This really bugs me and it is the smallest thing. Thankfully, that's why the internet was invented (are Al Gore jokes getting too old? Comment your answer).

I want to collect every figure of the DC Universe Infinite Heroes toy line. These G.I. Joe sized toys look cool and they're more posable than those DC animated figures that have been out for years. Unfortunately, try buying them! They're being released through stores like Toys R Us, KB Toys, Wal-Mart, and Target... except their inventory is sporadic and worse their online stores are barren. To me, this should be as simple as logging onto toysrus.com and putting all the figures in my cart then purchasing them all. Nope. Their website only has maybe two of the 3 set figures.

And guess what? Wave 4 is already starting! That means I'm behind and once these babies are out of print, your best shot is to buy them stupidly over priced at comic book stores or conventions.

Like I said, this isn't much of a real hassle... but it feels like it.
